Do you remember your first Foo experience?
"I remember when I heard 'This Is A Call' for the first time. My friend had a tape and we listened to it in this grotty little office in Shoreditch. It's such an astounding record, it just tears your face off."
How was it today?
"Absolutely magic. What's exciting about Foo Fighters is they're brimming with energy. They're like kids in a candy store. You put them all together and the fucking thing kicks off. It's almost like you don't have to ask them anything, they just go on their own."

Do you remember your first Foo experience?
"I remember when Nirvana came on 'The Word', Dave was there for the whole show just going 'What's going on now, what's happening here?' The reason I like Foo Fighters is that they don't follow any of the rules. They're doing what the hell they want - so many people seem afraid to do that."
How was it today?
"Fantastic, I'd had a very bad morning and was thinking 'Oh God, the day's not going very well' and then he just walks in of his own accord and just starts to talk. He's just so sociable."
