Another of the UK’s music magazines has weighed in on ‘Wasting Light’:

They last played in Sunderland back in 2005, but they’re headlining the UK’s biggest free music event again on Saturday May 14th in Carlisle.

Record Store Day have updated their website & with it comes a proper look at the cover of Medium Rare:

Joining the latest issue Q on shelves tomorrow is May’s Mojo magazine.  ’Wasting Light’ is reviewed and there’s a small piece on the Dingwalls gig in February:

As previously posted, Foo Fighters are on the cover of Q’s May issue which is on shelves from Tuesday, but Q subscription holders should be recieving their copies in the mail about now and here’s the cover:

Another album, another Q cover. 

The ‘Exclusive Unheard Foos Album’ plugged on the cover is a CD version of ‘Medium Rare’  a collection of the band’s covers being released on vinyl for Record Store Day (full details here).

The issue is on sale March 29th and subscribtion holders will get a cover free of text with a slightly different image.
