This coming Friday (August 17th) Foo Fighters will be in Brighton for the final of Radio One’s “Six Weeks Of Summer”.

The band join Chris Moyles (07.00 -10.00) for a chat and some live music.

Jo Whiley (10.00 – 12.45) has the band in the Live Lounge playing an acoustic version of ‘The Pretender’ and a special cover.

Edith Bowman (13.00 -16.00) will replay some of the morning’s live highlights as well as a previously unbroadcast track.

And the day is rounded with an intimate gig at the Concorde2, brodcast as “Radio One Presents… Foo Fighters” (18.00 – 19.00)

The following week the gig can be watched by hitting the red interactive button on any BBC channel (exact times tbc)

The announcement will now be made by Chris Moyles next Tuesday (August 14th).

This evening (August 7th) Zane Lowe will reveal details of something special the band will be doing for the station later this month.
