Frontline @ Radio One's Big Weekend

Foos fight medical advice and win

"It was good. We did one warm-up before this at a really tiny titty bar down from the studio, but this is really the first proper gig we've done for this album.
Unfortunately, though, I lost my voice a couple of days ago. I went to the doctor and he said I had laryngitis. I was told that if I did this gig there was a small possibility I could do permanent damage, but we'd already cancelled 'Top Of The Pops' and I certainly didn't want to cancel a show where a lot of fans had got tickets. I don't think we've ever cancelled a gig because my voice was bad and the fans helped out by singing along on songs like Everlong & My Hero. It was good but we'll be back to tour the album properly and that will be even better."
